Chris and Jules’ story starts on the first day of an ethics class at Loyola Marymount University seven years ago. Jules was a junior, Chris a senior, and it was the first time they (knowingly) crossed paths over the course of three years on the same campus. After class, Chris introduced himself and walked Jules to her next class, something he would begin to do every day for the rest of the semester.

A few study dates, a road trip, too much time spent at each other’s apartments, and endless texts later, they started dating. Since then, they’ve moved more than a few times: from Los Angeles to Valencia, through a year of long distance while Chris moved to Fremont, then on to Los Gatos together, and now into their first home in Danville, California. Along the way, they have added two dogs to the family and built a life that feels full, steady, and deeply shared.

After five years together, Chris proposed last February on Sandy Beach in Hawaii, during what Jules thought was just a post-work, pre-vacation dinner...It turned out to be something much more.

They can’t wait to get married, and even more, they can’t wait to celebrate with the people who have been part of their story from the beginning.
